Ipsy Glam Bag Subscription review

The Ipsy bag is a beauty subscription service founded by YouTuber Michelle Phan. I tried this out for about four months, and I want to share my thoughts with you. I love trying out subscription services because who doesn’t like receiving a gift every month 🙂 Once you go on to the website. You fill out a survey so they can get an understanding of what your taste in beauty is. Each month you receive deluxe samples and some full-sized beauty products from time to time. Which is a great deal for only 10 dollars a month? If you ever wanted to try out the newest makeup item, a trail size is the best way to do it. After you receive each bag, you have the opportunity to fill out a questionnaire and give Ipsy your preference.

My February bag which had to be my favorite gave me two face masks. I love a good sheet mask! These masks are an excellent way to hydrate and replenish your skin since they come packed with nutrients and vitamins. The perfect way to end your busy day by giving yourself some TLC. I was especially excited because I got to try a charcoal mask. Which when added to a face mask binds to and helps pull the dirt out of your pores, making them less visible.

My overall thoughts on Ipsy glam is that it is a great service if you love to try out different types of brands. You also have to be really diligent about taking the questioner so you can customize your next bag. I forgot to do it a couple of times, so it made my glam bags not as useful to me. I also found myself having an overfilling amount of samples I just won’t see myself using. For me, I ended up canceling the service because I wasn’t using all of my samples. When I was a member, I did end up finding some new brands that I now love.
